They work well & considering you can’t find any other brackets for the dakotas we don’t have much choice. Powder coating is rusting through after 11months on the truck. & the door was hitting the bracket. Fits fine now but the rust coming through kinda sucks!
Took my 05 Dakota to the GG fabricator and for a reasonable price he made these mounts for my 50" G3 roof mounted light bar and it's perfect. I get compliments everywhere on it. The lightbar sits perfectly flush with the top of my truck and is mounted using the existing holes under the weatherstrip in the door jam. very good design wth the GG logo on it as well!
